Where Projectors are used
When a projector is the right answer, and when it is not
A projector earns its place when the image has to be larger than a flat panel can cover at a sensible cost. SHRITECH supplies commercial displays from 10 inches to 110 inches and interactive panels from 55 inches to 135 inches, and above that range projection usually becomes the economical route to a wall-filling image. Auditoriums, lecture theatres, training halls, banquet spaces, council chambers and multipurpose halls are the usual candidates.
Throw distance and room geometry decide the design
Throw distance settles most of the specification. The gap between the projector and the screen, taken together with the image width the room needs, determines which lens arrangement will work, where the unit can be mounted and how the cable route has to be pulled. A deep auditorium with a projection room at the rear is a different problem from a seminar room where the unit sits close to the wall.
