A meeting room is judged by what the people at the far end experience. If a remote participant cannot tell who is speaking, has to ask for sentences to be repeated, or cannot read the content on screen, the room is not doing its job, whatever has been installed in it. Camera choice follows room geometry
For huddle spaces and small rooms we use EPTZ cameras, which pan, tilt and zoom electronically within a wide sensor and need no moving parts to cover a short table. Larger rooms, boardrooms and auditoriums call for optical PTZ cameras, available with up to 30X optical zoom, so a face at the far end of a long table still occupies a usable portion of the frame. Cameras with AI features are available where the room benefits from them.
Audio decides whether the far end can follow
A room can look right on the drawing and still fail on audio. Our audio conferencing range covers all room sizes in wired and wireless configurations, built on omnidirectional microphones that pick up participants across a table rather than only the person seated directly in front of a unit.
