The brief
News TV India approached SHRITECH for a display installation in its newsroom. The scope covered a video wall and a television, both installed in the newsroom itself. The installation was carried out by SHRITECH's own certified engineers, because SHRITECH does not subcontract installation work.
Why a newsroom video wall is a demanding install
A newsroom display works harder than an office screen. It is often in shot, so bezel pattern, brightness and refresh behaviour affect how the wall reads on camera as well as how it reads in the room. Content changes constantly and runs through the broadcast day, which puts continuous demand on the displays and on the signal chain feeding them.
- On-camera appearance as well as in-room legibility
- Continuous operation through the broadcast day
- Mounting to be planned around structure and desk sightlines
- Power, cable routing and signal distribution resolved at planning stage

What pixel pitch should a newsroom video wall use?
For SHRITECH to confirm — 18 items
- Year or month the News TV India newsroom installation was completed
- City and location of the newsroom, and whether the displays are in the working newsroom, a studio or a control area
- Confirm the correct client name and spelling for publication, plus written permission to use the News TV India name and logo on the site
- Whether the video wall is LCD panels or active LED, and the pixel pitch if LED
- Number and size of panels in the video wall and the array configuration (for example 2×2 or 3×3)
- Size and type of the television installed
- Controller, switcher, processor and source equipment used, and whether any makes or models may be named publicly
- Actual scope delivered: whether site survey, design, mounting, cabling, commissioning and handover training were all SHRITECH's, as the page should not assert phases that were not in the contract
- Whether equipment selection and screen configuration were agreed with the client before installation, and whether that process may be described
- Project duration, and whether the newsroom remained operational during the install
- Whether any audio, conferencing, automation or signage work formed part of this scope
- What the office automation and home automation lines actually cover (for example lighting, HVAC, room control), as no detail is on record
- Whether SHRITECH has other broadcast or media clients that may be named, since the page currently rests on this one broadcast reference
- Any measurable outcome or client statement that can be quoted on the page
- Whether a maintenance or AMC arrangement is in place — no duration, SLA or response time should be published until confirmed in writing
- Whether post-installation service calls are attended by SHRITECH's own engineers or by a third party, and what may be stated publicly about support
- Photographs of the completed installation, with clearance to publish them
- Confirm the project value may stay unpublished, or supply a figure that is cleared for public use
